Lit. aamad=arrival or import, baraamad=outgoing or export (Urdu).  It is a phase, which may at times be included in the rendition of a qaida.  This section refers to an implied exit from one qaida, followed by an implied entry into another qaida, only to return to the original theme without having destroyed its aesthetic beauty.  This section is believed to resemble the avirbhava-tirobhava movement in raga music.
