न अपना और न बेगाना काम आता है ,
न रंगों रूप यहाँ काम आता है न जाते सिफात ,
न तख्तों ताज यह शाहाना काम आता है ,
न जाम और न पैमाना काम आता है ,
मैना बोल गई रे
पीतम की मीठी बोली ,
यह चार दिन की जवानी दो घडीकी की बहार ,
रहेगी और न रही हुस्न आरज़ीकी बहार ,
गुरूरों नाजों तकब्बुर यह तमकनत यह गुबार ,
कोई बहार का है और न है किसी की बहार ,
